Mango Smoothie

Ingredients

1 Glass fat-free milkmango smoothie

1 cup yogurt, plain would be more fine

1 ½ cups crushed ice

1 frozen banana

1 cup chopped mango slices

1 teaspoon lime juice.

⅛ cup fresh coconut

½ tablespoon vanilla

1 tablespoon organic honey

 

Instructions

Put all ingredients in a juicer blender and blend until it gets smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Serve with additional chopped mango slices.

 

About the recipe:

Mango smoothie is perfectly creamy and unlike some other smoothies. I think it should be a rule that all smoothies include a banana, it helps to make smoothie even more creamy and pleasant in taste.

The key to sweetener up a smoothie is using additional ripe fruit chunks. Yes, they are called smoothies for a reason. But I still desire a little chew in my taste. So I like to top with a little extra fruit chunks, some coconut for better taste.

If you do not have Greek yogurt on hand, you can use regular plain homemade yogurt. But It just won’t be as perfectly creamy. Greek yogurt particularly makes this mango smoothie taste more like a shake than a healthy drink.

To make this even more protein based healthy drink, add a scoop of vanilla/chocolate protein powder of any brand.

You will simply love it!
